Louise Cameron trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she worked until she moved to The Portland Hospital in 2011. After carrying out training in Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital Louise became the Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist at The Portland where she mainly carries out food and drug diagnostic challenges. Louise has worked with Professor Lack at his Portland clinics since 2015. Her main day to day duties involve performing diagnostic tests such as skin prick testing, spirometry and exhaled nitric oxide, administering immunotherapy and overseeing food challenges.
Victoria Timms is a Senior Research Nurse in Paediatric Allergy at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Victoria has also worked with The Children’s Allergy Service as a Deputy Clinical Nurse Specialist where she was involved in the day to day running of the allergy day care unit. This involved food and drug challenges, administration of high risk vaccinations, and desensitisation treatments, both sublingual and subcutaneous. In addition to working within the NHS Allergy and Dermatology services, Victoria works with Professor Gideon at The Portland Hospital. In this role Victoria is involved in overseeing food challenges, performing diagnostic testing such as skin prick testing, spirometry and exhaled nitric oxide, administering vaccinations and sublingual immunotherapy treatments.
